Technical Skills Share Group

Technical Skills Share Group (TSSG) is a volunteer organization created by and for technical professionals seeking peer-based skill development on active projects. Our mission is to create an environment enabling members to stay current with the latest software technologies and focus on their interest areas while working with other technical professionals.

Weekly General Meetings

The TSSG General Meeting is on Wednesdays. It is an all-team meeting for introductions, updates and discussions. Before joining, you first must attend, in-person, one TSSG General Meeting. Please note that the group generally meets in the Eastern Massachusetts area on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 5pm.

Anyone interested in any aspect of the software development life cycle is welcome to attend .
Developers, web designers, project managers, support persons and those interested in learning about these and other roles are welcome.
If you are not sure where you may fit in, we will help you to figure it out.

DevOps Team

Each project team within TSSG works to learn new technologies. The DevOps Team helps each of the teams by installing, administrating, and maintaining tools and services that make the groups more productive. DevOps also address backups, restores, updates, migrations, and system upgrades. All services are made available on technologynursery.org. Any member of TSSG with interest in DevOps is welcome to participate.

We have found that active involvement in projects enhances our members’ opportunities for new roles or new challenges. As mobile industry professionals, we develop applications using the latest technologies. The group currently focuses on Android development and welcomes other mobile technologies. Project management is conducted using Scrum and Kanban frameworks in Agile. All TSSG members having interest in mobile development, from inception to release and beyond are welcome to participate.
